How does the drawing work?

The plush fabric is coated with a glow layer. Shine the light pen on it and wherever the light touches charges up and glows green in the dark, then gently fades away so the plush is a blank canvas again.

How long does the glow last?

Drawings are brightest right away and fade gradually over a few minutes, which makes it a natural wind-down for bedtime.

Is it safe for my child?

There is no ink, paint or mess. The pen uses a low-power light. As with any light, children should never shine it into eyes.

What age is it for?

Glowpals are designed for children 3 and up. Younger kids love the hugging; older kids love writing names, games and notes.

Can I wash it?

Remove the pen from the back pocket first, then spot clean or hand wash cold and air dry.
